Ana Esmeralda Zapien, or Esmeralda as many friends and clients know her, is a first-generation Mexican American with a strong dedication to hard work, kindness, education and philanthropy as instilled by her parents who came to the San Joaquin Valley from Mexico as children. 

 

As a child, Esmeralda was enchanted by watching her grandmother sew beautiful garments and her parents delicately mold “smiles” for their family owned Dental Lab; it impressed in her a passion for art and design. She began her event planning career in 2005 after studying Business & Arts in college intending to take over her parents’ business but instead followed in their entrepreneurial footsteps creating a business of her own that would allow her to incorporate her innovative designs and passion for serving others to create memorable events for members of her community. 

 

With strong love and support from parents and her husband, Esmeralda’s business thrived. It has been referred to as one of the best kept secrets of the Central Valley and plans on average over 100 events a year with unsurpassed attention to detail, quality and client dedication and loyalty.

 

The Events by E team consists of dedicated and supportive family, friends, interns learning about Event Design and retirees from the industry who still enjoy creating impactful events. 

 

When she isn’t making dreams come true, Esmeralda can be found traveling and exploring different parts of the world looking for inspiration to create different styles and designs to add to her Event Design catalog.
